+ Work From Home and Hybrid Work Options
For nearly three years, we proved that remote work doesn’t just work—it thrives. We kept SWBC running without missing a beat. Yet, management hesitates to embrace what we already know: smart, intentional remote and hybrid work options benefit both workers and the business. We’re not asking for blanket policies. We demand thoughtful, equitable arrangements that respect individual needs while driving SWBC forward.

+ Overtime for After Hours Work
On-call and after-hours work can double or even triple the time we dedicate to SWBC in a week. Yet, we’re expected to do it without fair compensation. This ends now. Supporting late-night software deployments, disaster recovery drills, or production issues isn’t free time—it’s our time. We demand the right to choose between overtime pay or comp time at a 1:1 ratio. If we give six extra hours to the business after hours, we deserve to be paid or take those hours back—no questions asked.

+ Fair Wages
Enough with the secrecy and inequity in pay. Workers in similar roles should be paid fairly, not subjected to arbitrary or biased decisions. We demand a clear, transparent wage floor based on years of experience, with additional considerations for certifications and performance. Negotiating salaries in a vacuum is broken and breeds inequality. We insist on fairness, clarity, and dignity in how our wages are determined.

+ No More Offshoring
Stop. Offshoring. Our. Jobs. Full stop. Management is trading quality, integrity, and the trust of its workers for cheap labor overseas. The results? Subpar products, bad code, and more work dumped on those of us still here. We stand united in saying: invest in your workers here. Stop sacrificing excellence for corporate greed.

+ Job Security
One mistake—one human error—and years of knowledge, experience, and loyalty are thrown away? That’s not just unjust; it’s destructive. Workers should never be fired for a single, non-malicious mistake. Period. And yet, management—who creates the flawed systems that allow such mistakes—faces no accountability. We demand fairness, support, and shared accountability. Stop the double standards.
